Dog That Took Off Tip of Thumb Wanted

A woman Paige Belser was standing beside a pickup truck talking to friends a week ago, a dog in the truck suddenly jumped at her and bit her thumb. She was shocked and screamed; she then ran indoors to ask for first aid for her injury thumb. When she returned to the scene of the incident, the truck and the dog had left.

Paige Belser is missing the tip of her thumb now. She and other agencies are looking for the dog that took it and its owner.

Nobody Bids for Princess Diana’s Dress in eBay

A strapless silk-chiffon evening gown wore by Princess Diana to the 1987 Cannes Film Festival and London opening of “Miss Saigon” in the late 1980s was up for auction on eBay but it failed to attract even one bid. The sale of the dress supposed to go to America’s Promise Alliance, a charity dedicated to help disadvantaged children stay in school. However, the starting bid for the dress on eBay was $125,000 but it didn’t attract any bidder until the auction closed on August 22, 2007.

Google Earth to launch Sky for stargazers

Sky is a “virtual telescope” which allows stargazers to explore hundred million stars and two hundred million galaxies. The amazing software is the result of a consortium of scientists around the world to digitize the sky.

Google wishes to create Internet users’ interest to learn about space via its Sky in Google Earth. With the availability of Sky, it can foster and initiate new understanding of the universe to everybody via a small computer.
