A woman Paige Belser was standing beside a pickup truck talking to friends a week ago, a dog in the truck suddenly jumped at her and bit her thumb. She was shocked and screamed; she then ran indoors to ask for first aid for her injury thumb. When she returned to the scene of the incident, the truck and the dog had left.
Paige Belser is missing the tip of her thumb now. She and other agencies are looking for the dog that took it and its owner.
Paige Belser said she plans to have reconstructive surgery. She is still traumatized by the shock of the attack.
