2007 Hito Awards, Leehom and Jolin Wins Hito’s “Best Male/Female Artist” again. Jolin Tsai won a total of five awards
a) “Hito’s Best Female Artist”
b) “Hito’s Most Popular Female Artist”
c) “Hito’s Longest Album”
d) “Hito’s Most Popular Online Star”
e) “Top Ten Songs of the Year.”

Jolin Tsai had won “Hito’s Best Female Artist” for the fourth time. As the “Hito’s Best Male Artist” was won by WANG LI HONG (Leehom Wang). Both Jolin and Leehom were the winners of last year’s award ceremony as well.

The whole cast did a marvelous job with each of their assign roles. Michael Miu’s CEO character and Bobby Au Yeung’s Chai Foon Cheung were basically the 2 main focus throughout the series. Both did well to bring out their character in the best of anyone’s capabilities: as Michael was so handsome with his cool, collected CEO appearance and Bobby is just so…Bobby! Very versatile character he portrayed.

TVB’s new series, “Dou Cheung Fung Wan” held its costume fitting yesterday. The cast includes Bobby Au Yeung, Jessica Hsuan, Michael Miu Kiu Wai, Bosco Wong Chung Chak and Tavia Yeung Yi.

TVB’s new 80 episode series, “Jewel’s Splendor” 《珠光寶氣》 held its costume fitting.
Gigi Lai and Charmaine Sheh have always been producer Chik’s favourites, however, because Charmaine has taken part in “Drive of Life”, thus, Chik has replaced Charmaine Sheh by Linda Chung who is well-known for her obedience.

The actresses wore $48.81 million (HKD) in jewels, totalling 423.5 carats. The three lead actresses Gigi Lai, Ada Choi, and Maggie Shiu play 3 sisters in the series. Their diamonds alone were worth $35.7 million (HKD). There was heightened security at the studio due to the invaluable jewelry.

Bollywood:

the mere word conjures up colorful and vibrant dream-like versions of reality. A reality far from the truth but which represents a cultural stereotype of Indians held by firangis (foreigners) and, unfortunately, a fictitious culture that most Indians themselves intimately identify with. To understand where these stereotypes originate and why these illusions are a big part of Indian culture is to get to the core of Bollywood. The word itself is, of course, a play on the word Hollywood, representing Indian cinema’s equivalent commercial production output.
