Princess Diana is still well remembered by the world today even though she had passed away 10 years ago. This year marked the 10th anniversary of her death. Princess Diana died on Aug. 31, 1997, along with her boyfriend Dodi Fayed and their driver when their Mercedes crashed inside the Pont d’Alma tunnel in Paris. Princess Diana was noted for her charisma, style, humour and high-profile charity work. She was one of the most photographed woman in her lifetime.

Her sons, Prince William and Prince Harry organised a special concert on 1st July 2007 to commemorate and celebrate their mother’s life. The concert was called “Concert for Diana” and it was their special birthday gift for her as it would be her 46th birthday on the day. The concert was held in Wembley Stadium, North West London. It was a 6-hours concert.

TVB and CCTV had a joint venture in producing a drama together called “The Drive of Life”, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the return of Hong Kong to China. Hong Kong was return to China in 1997.

The drama will be aired in China starting from 1st July and in Hong Kong from 16th July. TVB organised a special premier event for this last week and some cast members were present included Charmaine Sheh, Jessica Hsuan, Myolie Wu, Sheren Tang, Damian Lau, Michael Miu and Raymond Lam.

The spoilt brat and spendthrift heiress who was hauled crying into jail had served time. The public couldn’t wait to get a slice of Hilton in prison clothes, eating prison food, and living in a prison cell. She was the epitome of celebrity superficiality and bitchiness brought to heel. Yet what could she have learnt in the short time she served? Many celebrities had been thrown into jail but emerged only more prosperous and bitchy.

Great news for all Spice Girls’ fans as they are able to see Spice Girls on stage again. They are expected to announce a reunion tour, and also expected to be accompanied by a new album and a television documentary.

The “girl power” five-member band sold around 55 million albums and topped charts around the world before their last album “Forever” in November, 2000.
