What is all this mania and obsession with prince and princess of the royal family? Princess Diana was given an honorary tribute for the tenth anniversary of her death. An inquiry into her death revealed that there was no evidence to show that security services were spying on her and inadvertently causing her death. Ten years after her scandalous accident, the public is still agog with news about her.

The baby prince who solved the problem of the lack of a male heir to the Chrysanthemum throne seemed puzzled by all the adulation and camera lights. He has yet to learn to be disdainful and proud of his heritage. But he will learn soon enough that he is different from the rest of the commoners.

Google Earth to launch Sky for stargazers

Sky is a “virtual telescope” which allows stargazers to explore hundred million stars and two hundred million galaxies. The amazing software is the result of a consortium of scientists around the world to digitize the sky.

Google wishes to create Internet users’ interest to learn about space via its Sky in Google Earth. With the availability of Sky, it can foster and initiate new understanding of the universe to everybody via a small computer.

With the opening of the first hotel planned in space, Galactic Suite, in 2012, tourists can enjoy a three-day stay in space by paying RM4million. In this most luxurious and expensive hotel, tourists are able to see the sunrise 15 times a day and use Velcro suits to crawl around their pod rooms by sticking themselves to the walls like Spiderman.

The hotel is designed by a Barcelona based architect. The three-bedroom boutique hotel looks like a model of molecules. The pod structure design make is easy to fit inside a rocket to be taken into space.

Can a crocodile survive after falling 12 floors from an apartment? Well, this funny incident happened in Moscow. A crocodile fell down from the 12th floor of a Russian apartment unit and it was found unscathed from the fall. The crocodile only lost one tooth and the body is unhurt.

A patient was undergoing an operation in the Policlinico Juan D. Peron, the main hospital in Villa Mercedes, a small city in San Luis province, when The power supply in the hospital was cut off due to a major blackout in the city.

The generator in the hospital malfunctioned during the blackout. The surgeons and anesthetists had to work in the dark. Luckily a family member of the patient got some cell phones together from people in the hallway and took them in to provide light.
