The latest XBox 360 Elite is competing directly with Sony’s PlayStation 3 and Nintendo’s Wii as part of the seventh generation of gaming systems.

According to John Rodman, group product manager for the Xbox platform and Xbox Live:

“We don’t feel like the Wii customer and the Xbox customer are the same thing,” he said. “We think that as soon as the Wii customer turns 14 they want something else.”
