A very unusual baby was born in in Mexico this week. Blanca Rosa de Leon Garcia gave birth to a bouncing boy that weighs more than 13 pounds, about the size of a three-month-old infant.

The head of Mexico’s National Institute of Health says the newborn’s size is “exceptionally rare.” Only about about 1 in 40,000 babies are that big at birth, he estimated.

Salvador Garcia, the baby’s father, said the family is “very happy.”

“We didn’t expect this though, now we have to buy bigger clothing because what we have is not going to fit,” he said.

Pedro Garcia was delivered by Caesarean section.

Seven used to be the number of the devil but in the precarious confusion of human history, it can also be extremely lucky. Lining up sevens is lucky because it means you’ve hit the winning combination on the slot-machine jackpot. Snow White was lucky because she had seven dwarfs to help her when she was ordered to be killed by her evil stepmother. Seven-eleven made it big in the convenience store business. Michigan largest city – Detroit’s downtown viewed from the Detroit River

If you’re caught cheating on your spouse in Michigan, you’re technically committing felony in the eyes of the law. According to the state law, the offence is deemed a first-degree sexual crime, punishable by up to life in jail. Interpreting the law literally according to statutory language means that a person who engages in sexual penetration in an adulterous relationship is guilty of the crime.

So cheating husbands and wives out there, beware! Fortunately, no one has yet been convicted of the offence since 1971…

Julie Amero, a 40-year-old substitute teacher in Norwich, Connecticut, is facing up to 40 years in prison for exposing children to internet pornography. She has been convicted of impairing the morals of a child and risking injury to a minor by exposing as many as ten seventh-grade students to porn sites.

The incident happened in October 19, 2004. Amero was a substitute teacher for a seventh-grade language class at Kelly Middle School. A few students were crowded around a PC; some were giggling. She investigated and saw the kids looking at a barrage of graphic, hard-core pornographic pop-ups.

The prosecution contended that Amero had used the computer to visit porn sites. However, the defense said that wasn’t true and argued that the machine was infested with spyware and malware, and that opening the browser caused the computer to go into an endless loop of pop-ups leading to porn sites. Amero’s lawyer argued that the teacher hit a hair-styling website, resulting in spyware infection, which in turn “led to this pornographic loop that was out of control.”
