In Sweden, Supreme Administrative Court recently ruled that sex offenders inmates have the right to read their favorite porn magazine, even for those convicted for rape, contrary to Swedish prison practice that doesn’t allow adult movies, channels and Web sites at the jail house, and definitely no access also to child and violent pornography.
The no porn practice in jail has been implemented even for the country where law of the land says porn is fine as there is no proof that porn would bring harm. Instead, crime statistic shows that there is a very strong causal link between the availability of porn and the reduction of sex-based crime.
