The popular website YouTube will use technology to stop copyright infringement for videos uploaded on its site.

The lawyer of YouTube told U.S. District Judge in Manhattan that YouTube was working “very intensely and cooperating” with major content providers on video recognition technology as sophisticated as the fingerprint technology of F.B.I.

Dog House Made of Sanrio’s Hello Kitty Themed with Swarovski Crystal

This marvelous Hello Kitty dog house is decorated with 7.600 Swarovski crystal beads and has a pillow in the shape of Hello Kitty’s face. One of the lucky owners from the draw will get to have his pooch sleeping and cuddling on it.

Cost at US$31,660, this was created in line with a high end pet products designer and meant for a special Hello Kitty sales event in Japan. However, the cute little bed cuddlier can only accommodate smaller dog like Chihuahua, etc.

Beach Overcrowded as Heat Wave 35°C Hit China

A heat wave with the temperature rising to 34.5 degrees centigrade hit Dalian, northeast China Liaoning province, on July 29, 2007. Due to the extremely hot weather, beach in Dalian became the most popular place for the local citizens as well as the tourists. They thronged the beachside to cool themselves. As a result, the beach became overcrowded that is very rare scene in Dalian beach.

Lawyer Sued McDonald’s for Not Displaying Chinese on Receipts

A Chinese lawyer spoke for all Chinese as he decided to sue McDonald’s in China for not using Chinese on its receipts. He feels by using English on receipts are violating his right to information. However, he didn’t asked for big buck of compensation but just symbolic of 1 yuan (13 US cents) and requests McDonald’s to apologize in newspapers.

Pepsi’s Aquafina and Coca-Cola’s Dasani Bottled Water is from Public Water Source

Bottled water sales are the main revenue for Pepsi and Coca-Cola over theirs own brands of traditional carbonated sodas which are declining due to health concerns. This prompted the two corporate to start selling bottled water by claiming it originated from springs or purified water but in fact they are filtering public water source without obvious mentioning.

Pepsi mentioned in their Aquafina brand that it comes from ‘PWC’ without much elaboration. While Coca-Cola mentioned in their Dasana brand that it did mention in corporate website that it is purified water. However, both corporate has indeed confused their consumers thinking the water is coming from the spring source until Corporate Accountability International has been probing and pressing Pepsi, Coca-Cola and others to mention on the label that the bottled water drink comes from the same source of tap water from public supply, of course through the process of purifying or distilling.
