Fujifilm, a digital camera brand in FinePix series model commemorates the 10th anniversary by announcing the birth of its new FinePix F100fd. It plans to start selling sometimes in March this year and cost around US422.

The 1/1.6 inch 12 million effective pixel super CCD honeycomb VIII HR combination with its wide dynamic range can capture 4 times more brighter spots and tonality than the conventional digital camera which will render it overexpose. The result is the tonal expression of excellent photo finish.

Moreover, the wide dynamic range is adjustable to 100%, 200% and 400% while ISO200 is more than 200%, and 400% will be for film over ISO400. The new engine also allows high sensitivity shooting, reduce noise( like non flash in low light, freeze action in faster shutter speed)to the maximum of 3 million pixel recorded in ISO12800 ultra high sensitivity.

In addition, its 28 millimeter wide angle lens is equivalent to 140 millimeter with its five times optical zoom lens, F3.3-F5.1 value and blur hands CCD shift correction features.

Face 3.0 detection technology is a fast detection at 0.036 seconds for up to 10 pictures consecutively in motion to front / side / face diagonally and even upside down at different angle with quick automated red eye correction feature. LCD is of 2.7 inches and 230,000 pixel monitor and up to 100 images can be displayed on LCD monitor list.

The recording media comes in XD-SD and SDHC compatible memory card and also has an internal memory of 57 mega byte. It adopted rechargeable battery power supply. Body size is of 97.7(width) x 58.9(height) x 23.4(depth) millimeters and weights about 190 grams including batteries and card. More details can be found right here.
