b122aHow about have one day off in a week and have sex instead? This is the campaign of a central Russian province to boost the birth rate by giving Wednesday off to have sex and of course make babies.

Not only that, the campaign went on further to include a prize if a woman gives birth in exactly nine months time that is on Russia’s national day on 12thJune. Even that, the good news is it doesn’t matter whether it is a baby girl or boy and extend it to single mother too. This is so because Russia wants to reverse the decline in its population by about 700,000 people a year.

The campaign seems to be working for this year a record of 78 babies was born on 12thJune compared to 26 babies in the year of 2006. People just love prizes, holidays and not forgetting about sex.

Do wish such a scheme can implement worldwide for we can ‘Love Your Baby, Love Your Sex.’
