The 45-year-old rock and urban climber “Spiderman” Alain Robert, was arrested by Russian police for climbing the highest building in Europe on Sept. 4, 2007. He was detained immediately after he got to the top of the 242-meter-high skyscraper in Moscow.

Alain Robert took 20 minutes to climb up to the top of the building which was expected to take an hour before his stunt.

Police were waited on the top floor of the tower to arrest him. The organizers of Spiderman’s Moscow City climbing said Robert has permission from the city authorities for climbing the tower and they did not know why he was arrested.

The Spiderman is famous in using only his bare hands and climbing shoes to climb up many skyscrapers around the world but many of his attempts often without permission. He has been arrested many times by various countries’ police.
