Nine dresses that wore by Princess Diana before were on display in Kensington Palace, her former home at Britain. Dresses featured are designs by Princess Diana’s favourite designers like Catherine Walker, Bruce Oldfield and Victor Edelstein.

Dresses on display including a blue silk velvet gown that she wore when danced with actor John Travolta at a dinner. Other dresses were a bottle green velvet gown fitted with large diamante buttons, a white satin and lace 30s-style evening design, and a beaded black dress.

“Well she was the most famous fashion icon, I think for British designers, of all time and I can’t think when there will be anybody else who would be such a fantastic ambassador for British fashion and it made British designers, including us, very well known and that was incredible and a real privilege to have dressed her,” One of Diana’s wedding dress designers, Elizabeth Emanuel said. “She will never be replaced. There will never be anybody quite like her.”
