So You Think You Can Dance is a dance reality show and competition originated from the United States version So You Think You Can Dance. The series premiered on April 5, 2007.






The Malaysia Champion of So You Think You Can Dance Grand Finals was born on June 29, 2007 at Ruums, Kuala Lumpur. The Top 4 finalists were Alam, Dennis, Sue and Brancy. Pat Ibrahim, Ramli Ibrahim and Judimar Hernandez were three of the four judges whose favorite is Alam. At about 10:20pm, the host Juliana Ibrahim announced that Malaysia had voted Alam as the Malaysia’s Best Dancer who won the most votes and defeated the other three finalists.

Alam is a breakdancer since aged 14, he had won the solo category in the Malaysian Breakdancing Championship in 2005. Alam is richer by RM50,000 cash after this competition and also won a role in Tiara Jacquelina’s next theatre project.

So Alam, You Think You Can Dance? At least Malaysia said you can dance.
