For Visit Malaysia Year 2007 event, the point of attraction is a glamour 60-meter-tall ferris wheel dubbed as the Eye on Malaysia which is the tallest portable observation wheel in South-East Asia. In addition, this 60-metre structure is located at Titiwangsa Lake Gardens, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Apart from the Ferris wheel, there also will be interesting, excited activities like a Jet Ski show, fireworks display as well as a laser show at the Titiwangsa Lake Gardens . The operating hours for the ferris wheel are from 10am to 10pm daily.
The ferris wheel comprising of 42 gondolas is similar to the London Eye & it allows visitors/tourists to experience a 360-degree breath-taking view of Kuala Lumpur skyline during a 12-minute ride that goes 60 metres high.
Ticket prices of this giant ferris wheel for regular gondolas are RM15 (US $4) for adults and RM8 (US $2.3) for children. However, you can hire 1 gondolas for RM100 (US $28) with a maximum of eight passengers while those who want a special treatment also can opt for the VIP gondola which been outfitted to include plush leather seats fit for a king, a mini fridge, a DVD player, a plasma TV and a mobile telephone.
