Ashlee Simpson Record Duet With Cure frontman Robert Smith

Pop Star Ashlee Simpson is to record a duet with The Cure frontman Robert Smith. The singer, the younger sister of Jessica Simpson, is to collaborate with Smith on her new album,as yet untitled album. The pair are working together to create a new sound for the follow up to Simpson’s first album “I Am Me” that released in 2005.
A close friend of Smith, Fall Out Boy frontman Pete Wentz claims the pair met when Ashlee Simpson was in London last year performing in West End music Chicago. Pete Wentz telling Entertainment Weekly:”I doubt I had anything to do with it, ’cause they were friends since she was performing in Chicago. But I definitely only have good things to say about Ash – I think the collaboration could be great.”
