The impression of this singer-actress to many people was “bad girl”, based on her image, her attitude and even her performance. But now, she is categorized as “good girl”, at least many people said she looks better now.

Madonna beats Drew Barrymore who was ranked second in the list. Soul star Mary J.Blige and Sarah Ferguson in third and fourth places respectively.

US pop singer Gwen Stefani compromised with Malaysia’s culture and kept her promise to perform as a “good girl” with no sexy costume in her concert in Malaysia. She disappointed many Malaysians who were expected her sexy look during her performance. However, her performance in the concert still managed to wowed many conservative Malaysians.

Gwen Stefani covered her tight-fitting tops in jackets, and sported leotards under her dresses and mini-skirts during the two-hour Kuala Lumpur leg of her “Sweet Escape” tour.

“I am practically Malaysian,” Stefani told 10,000 screaming fans. “I just want you to know I am very inspired tonight,” she said. “You are a very, very amazing audience.” She waved a miniature Malaysian flag, and said “Terima Kasih” means thank you in Malaysia language. Malaysia’s Independent Day is on August 31.

Early this month, Union of Malaysian Muslim Students protested her concert and said her skin-baring act could erode Islamic values.

She will offer her fashion ideas in a new book “That Extra Half an Inch: Hair, Heels and Everything in Between,” which to be published by HarperCollins in November 2007. She will be sharing with the readers on how to make them look good based on her experience.

“I’ve always been a girl’s girl,” Victoria Beckham said. “And I know from experience that making the very best of yourself is something any woman can do.”

“I was never the 6-foot-tall pinup. I’ve always been the girl-next-door who got lucky,” she said. “I’ve come a long way in the last 10 years, but this book isn’t my attempt to tell you what or what not to do. It’s just to share some of what I’ve learned.”
