The Beijing 2008 Olympic Games emblem “Chinese Seal, Dancing Beijing” is filled with Beijing’s hospitality and hopes, and carries the city’s commitment to the world.

The term Wushu literally translated into two Chinese characters. 武 (wǔ) is martial or military and 術 (shù) is art.Wushu therefore means the art of fighting, or martial arts.

Wushu is a full-contact sport derived from traditional Chinese martial arts. Created in the People’s Republic of China after 1949.

Wushu is composed of two disciplines: taolu (套路) is routines and sanda (散打) is sparring.Taolu forms are similar to gymnastics and involve martial art patterns and maneuvers for which competitors are judged and given points according to specific rules. The forms comprise basic movements (stances, kicks, punches, balances, jumps, sweeps and throws) based on aggregate categories traditional Chinese martial art style and can be changed for competitions to highlight one’s strengths.

For over the centuries . amongst China’s well kept martial art secrets, one caught the imagination of the West to which Wushu exemplifies the culture, discipline, and true spirit of the Chinese people.The Organizing Committee of the 2008 Olympiad and the International Wushu Federation has continuously strived for a place for Wushu Kung Fu to be included in the Olympic Competition to show the world one of its important events cultural heritage of China as the sport embodies the ideals and spirit of the modern Olympics.

The Green Dye sensetized Solar cells harness more energy from the Sun

Solar energy is the most attractive option, because, in it’s base form, that is where Earth gets pretty much all of its energy. Plants do a very efficient job of converting this energy into useful forms; our solar cells can’t compare. Either for straight up electricity, or hydrogen generation, artificial photosynthesis could solve many of our energy problem.And here’s come the breakthrough by harness the nature and its chlorophyll photosynthesis effect state of Green by dye sensitised it.

Researchers at Massey University of New Zealand developed range of natural dye sensitised solar cells which could extract more energy from the sun and cost only one tenth of current silicon photo electric solar cell.The invention was headed by Dr Wayne Campbell with his team of researchers in the Uninversity’s Nanomaterials Research Centre.

To elaborate further ,

“The refining of pure silicon, although a very abundant mineral, is energy-hungry and very expensive. And whereas silicon cells need direct sunlight to operate efficiently, these cells will work efficiently in low diffuse light conditions,” Dr Campbell says.

Mediterranean Diet – Antioxidant Rich in Vegetable , Fruits and Grains

According to British new research , Children in the Greek Islands are less susceptible from allergies and asthma suggesting the Mediterraian diet which is antioxidant rich in vegetable , fruts and nuts.

This is following a survey in the Greek island and found from the parents of nearly 700 children about their dietary habits. They found that at least twice a day, eight out of 10 children ate fresh fruit, and two-thirds ate fresh vegetables.

These health diet habit have direct link to benefit strongest in terms of respiratory problems were less likely to develop air or skin allergies, or asthma symptoms.

Victoria’s secret : Hot satin bra , panty , petticoat, bows and infamous vibrator didldo!

A Ukrainian woman , Svetlana Ivanyshka, 26,was arrested after she was caught by customs officers trying to smuggle drugs inside a vibrator.

She was asked to open her suitcases at Kiev airport on her flight from New Delhi after guards got a tip off that she may be carrying drugs.

And they ransacked her luggage and found a bag of drugs stuffed in the sex toy’s battery compartment.

“She told us that she had put the drugs in a vibrator because she thought no one would ever think of touching it, let alone looking inside it”, said a police spokesman.

“She was obviously unaware of how thorough our officers are in their searches”.

However , the vibrator dildo does prove a catch too hard to believe.
