There is no safe place in this world today, even the school is not safe for students and they need protection from school violence. A Massachusetts company My Child’s Pack is offering a school bag, it’s not your usual school bag, it is a bulletproof backpack. The backpack stops 97% of all bullets used and it is selling at $175 in US.
Two Massachusetts fathers Mike Pelonzi and Joe Curran who wanted to keep their kids safe at school, spent nearly a decade working on a lightweight bulletproof backpack that would protect children from gunshots. The backpack’s panel weights about 2 pounds, about the weigh of a bottle of water.
“If the kid has a backpack next to them, or under the desk, they can pick it up, the straps act as a handle and it becomes a shield,” creator Joe Curran said.
