1)The winner of Miss Philippines Earth 2007 will be coronated on April 27, 2007.

Dated back as far as in 2001 , Miss earth competition began in Philippines and has since include over 80 countries competitors.Though it hard to believe it is purely meant to promote and be actively involved in the preservation and protection of Mother Earth , as it caught the wary and popping eyes of the men to more than a beauty pageant.

Miss earth competition is a month long campaign event over the country , held once every year in philippines for good cause of the enviroment.However , only one Miss Earth 2007, runners-up receive their own special titles, named after the natural elements: Miss Earth Fire (third runner-up), Miss Earth Water (second runner-up) and Miss Earth Air (first runner-up).

In 2003 , there is even uproar in Islamic country, Afghan, where Miss Vida Samadzai first competes in bikini clad swimwear in the Miss Earth Competition.
