NEC’s New ShieldPRO Notebook Can Be Used Anywhere

NEC is not emphasizing the look of ShieldPRO FC-N22A Tablet PC, but they just want you to have a notebook that can be used at tough workplace. This 12.1″ notebook is able to function perfectly well in cold to hot environment from -20 to over 50 degrees Celsius.

Not only that, NEC’s ShieldPro is waterproof, and apparently you can drop it from a height of 90cm (about 3-foot) onto a concrete floor, which I will never tried to prove they are right.

Its features include :-

• Compliance to IP55 requirements
• Intel Core 2 Duo U7500 1.06GHz processor
• 12.1″ display with LED backlight and XGA resolution
• Brightness of 750cd/m2
• 512MB RAM (up to 4GB)
• Touch screen functionality

With these special features, you can continue surfing online when you are taking shower. Well, if you are thinking to get one, the price for this NEC notebook is about $2,500.
