Britney Spears Tops In Yahoo Searches For 2007

Many people do not like the 26-year-old singer Britney Spears but no doubt she is still the most popular celebrity as she tops the list of Yahoo searches again for 2007.

She behaved weird to draw attention of us and paparazzi which includes she shaved her head, attacked a photographer’s car with an umbrella, went to rehab, went out without underwear, fought with ex-husband Kevin Federline over the custody of their two sons, worst performance on MTV Awards and released her first album in four years.

“People do not know what to expect from her any more and the searches would spike every time she was back in the news,” Vera Chan, senior editor at Yahoo said.

“From when she shaved her head and rumors emerged from the rehab mill that she was calling herself the anti-Christ and shaved 666 on her scalp, there was constant tracking of this almost modern-day Greek tragedy happening in front of us.”

This is not the first time Britney Spears tops the list; she has topped the annual Yahoo list since 2000 except in 2004, she lost to Paris Hilton.
