Those who like coffee can try something difference – coffee beans made from cat feces; or I should say, coffee beans that discharged from the intestine of a cat and expelled from the body through the anus of a cat during the act of defecation.

The coffee beans is called “Kopi Luwak” beans, only produced in Indonesia. “Kopi” is the Indonesian word for coffee and “Luwak” is local name of the civet cat which eats the raw red coffee ‘cherries’ as part of its usual diet.

Kopi Luwak is the most expensive coffee in the world, selling for between $120 and $600 per pound, and is sold mainly in Japan and United States.
