SFX Editor Dave Bradley says, “Everyone has their own memories about their favorite James Bond, characters, and unforgettable moments from the movies. Connery was the quintessential Bond – he was so strong in the role that even though successive generations in the meantime have grown up with their own new James Bonds, Connery is the still the ultimate 007.”

Roger Moore who starred in seven films, including the 1974 classic ‘The Man With The Golden Gun’ was runner-up in second place, while Pierce Brosnan who was recently replaced by Daniel Craig came third.
