UK company Medion offers the S1211 Hello Kitty netbook that has Hello Kitty logo on the lid and inside. This is not the first Hello Kitty netbook as we have seen Sotec’s before. The 10-inch netbook is powered by the commonly used Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, 1GB RAM, onboard GMA 950 graphics and a 160GB hard drive.


The Medion S1211 has a 10-inch LCD display. It supports WiFi 802.11b/g/n and has a VGA webcam, and a multi-in-1 card reader. A USB Bluetooth adapter will be included. The Hello Kitty netbook is available in Black (MD97006) and White (MD97005) and is priced at GBP349.99.

The Porcupine bookshelf is designed by Holly Palmer, UK. Porcupine bookshelf is a unique way to store your books. The bookshelf has 18 compartments in various sizes for holding your favorite book. When a book is removed, the fluorescent compartment is revealed behind. It is designed to sit beside a standard chair and available in four colors: white, blue, red and rainbow for around $1500.

Ferrari 458 Italia announced!

Maranello has finally revealed the mid-engined V8 replacement for the Ferrari F430.

The new Ferrari 458 Italia is powered by a new 4.5 liter V8 engine producing 570 horsepower at a mind-boggling 9,000rpm, and 540Nm of torque at 6,000rpm (over 80% of this available from 3,250rpm onwards), thanks to high-revving, a 12.5:1 compression ratio, and direct injection. The torque numbers are pretty darn high for a normally aspirated of this size, thanks to direct injection and the high compression. Ferrari pointed out that out of the 570 total horses, 5 are gained only at higher speeds thanks to a ram air effect.

Samsung Haptic Pop Stylish Clamshell Phones

Samsung has launched a new line of Haptic Pop clamshell phones for the Korean market. Designed by popular Korean singers Son Dambi and Kim Hyun-joong. The phones have a 3 Megapixel camera with flash and have been presented at Haptic Mission which is a Korean commercial campaign for Samsung’s Haptic phone series.



This phone is available in Korea only for 600,000 KRW ($ 400).

Samsung have officially announced their touchscreen watchphone, S9110. The Samsung S9110 is just 11.98mm thick, making it officially the world’s thinnest such device, and has a 1.76-inch scratch-proof touchscreen and stainless steel bod.
