Tony Leung Plans To Wed Carina Lau This Year

The Lust Caution <色。戒> star, Hong Kong actor Tony Leung (梁朝偉) was asked during a press conference to promote the fourth Hong Kong Entertainment Expo, about the reports that his actress girlfriend Carina Lau (劉嘉玲) has spoken of plans for them to get married, he said he hopes to find time to wed her this year.
Tony Leung said, “I’m getting up there in age. It’s time to consider marriage … I’m in my 40s. I can’t wait until I’m 60.”
Tony Leung said that they have planned for marriage in the past few years, but he was too busy on work and had a difficult time coordinating his tight schedule.
“Even though the Hong Kong movie industry has gone through a recession, it’s still quite vibrant. I’m very busy,” he said. “Let’s see if we’re luckier this year and can find a date.”
This is a good news after several bad news since beginning of the year of 2008. Congrats to both Tony and Carina, hope to hear their official announcement of their marriage.
