In Germany, a woman is pregnant after an online sex auction; she has won a court battle to force the Web site that hosted the sale, to reveal the identity of the winners in order for her to identify the father of her child.

Six men won in Internet auctions between April 2007 and May 2007 to have sex with the woman. She didn’t know their real names but only their online names.

When the woman approached the site operator for the identity of the six men, it refused and citing a confidentiality clause in its terms and conditions.

However, the court in the southwestern city of Stuttgart ruled in her favor, saying that the child has right to know who is his father.

The spokesperson of the court said, “the woman wanted to discover which one of the men had made her pregnant. So she needed their contact details. Of course, if they’re not willing to go along with the gene test, she’ll have to take them to court.”
