World’s Thinnest Notebook

Apple unveiled the world’s thinnest notebook “Macbook Air” during its launch in India at a function in Mumbai on Feb. 12, 2008.
According to the product marketing manager of Apple, Angeline Tan, the world’s thinnest notebook “Macbook Air”, which was first launched at the MacWorld expo in San Francisco Jan 15, measures 4 mm at its thinnest point is selling from INR 96,100 (US$2,450).

The features of the MacBook Air notebook include:
- A 13.3-inch liquid crystal display
- A full-size backlit keyboard and a built-in video camera
- Up to five hours of battery
- Wi-Fi networking
- An Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 1.6 or 1.8 GHz of processing power
- An 1.8-inch hard drive offering 80 GB of storage
