British Peter Pan fairy tale writer’s James M. Barrie whose London mansion opens for sale early this week. This six-bedroom mansion stands opposite Kensington Park in Central London goes up on sale for 675 million pounds.

Barry had lived in the mansion and met five boys in Kensington Park who inspired the story of Peter Pan which triggered the turn of the 20th century. Peter Pan first appeared in 1902 in “The Little White Bird”. Two years later, he published Tinker Bell and Captain Hook fiction story which became very popular in play, novel and film version.

Barry had no children and divorced in 1909 when his wife had an affair with another writer. He died in June 1937 at the age of 77.
