Ricky Martin attended the ceremony on October 16, 2007 and hundreds of his female fans were there to wave Puerto Rican flags to celebrate together with him.
He told The Associated Press: “My work has been recognized. It will stay here forever, hopefully.”
“I’m so motivated right now, we’ll see where this takes me.”
He told his supporters: “This is an incredible moment, everything I do, I do with love and passion.”
