The Notting Hill Carnival, which has been held every August Bank Holiday since 1966, is the world’s second largest street party, after the Rio Carnival in Brazil and is the largest celebration of its kind in Europe. The carnival was held in central London, Britain on August 27, 2007 and had attracted nearly two million people this year.

Notting Hill Carnival Started as a local festival set up by the West Indian immigrants of the area, it has now become a full-blooded Caribbean carnival. Performers with bright, colourful and outlandish costumes were dancing on the streets during the parade.

Music was the heart of Notting Hill Carnival; they played traditional and contemporary from Reggae to R&B, Funk, House, Dub and much more. See some pictures taken during the parade.
