Tony Leung and Tang Wei Stripped for Love Scene in NC-17 Rating’s Lust, Caution

Ang Lee’s new film “Lust, Caution” is based on a 28 pages short story by Eileen Chang, and follows a group of revolutionary students who hatch a plot to assassinate a powerful political figure who is collaborating with occupying forces during the Sino-Japanese war. This two-and-a-half hour film has been given an NC-17 rating in US, meaning no one under 17 will be admitted and limiting its box office potential.
Sources who have seen the film said it contains three love scenes, it took about 30 minutes in the two-and-a-half hour film. But what made everyone shocked was both the lead actors Tony Leung and Tang Wei were stripped naked and featuring multiple acts of aggressive sexual activity in different positions in the movie.
It became the main focus on the long, acrobatic and sometimes disturbing love scenes between the Asia’s biggest screen star Tony Leung and first-time actress Tang Wei, which Lee hinted were real. Tony Leung said he willing to follow Ang Lee’s instruction in the movie even he needs to strip just because he trusts the director.
