Drought Hits Indonesia

No rain for few months causes drought in South Sulawesi, Indonesia, dry land and crack earth can be seen anywhere. Villagers are forced to walk few miles to fetch drinking water. Nobody can help the villagers, it becomes the duty of men and women, adults and children, to carry containers on their heads or shoulders, walk through dry land to get water, at least for drinking.

The dry weather will last at least few more weeks. Villagers have no choice but to pray for raining while carrying water back to their home from few miles away. Look at the photos below, how bad is the condition of the land and you can imagine how is the hot and dry weather in Indonesia.
