Britney Spears Under Investigation For Child Abuse

Britney Spears is facing an investigation by the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services for possible child abuse. The child abuse allegations were reportedly raised during an unscheduled court hearing on August 27, 2007. Social workers at the LA County Department of Children and Family Services will be making enquiries into Britney’s suitability to be the sole carer.

Britney Spears is fighting for sole custody of her sons Sean, 23 months, and Jayden, 11 months with ex-husband Kevin Federline. Her erratic behaviour in front of her children has been criticized recently. Some were saying her children are not properly taking care, and not growing in a healthy environment.

Her former workers alleged Britney “smoked like a chimney” around her children, she even asked Sean to get her cigarettes for her. Someone was claiming: “she drinks in front of the kids.”

She was also accused of trying to whiten Sean Preston’s teeth. A source said Britney doesn’t even know how to brush Sean’s teeth, and they look awful. She tried to whiten them using Crest Whitestrips, but he kept crying. Finally she threw the strips away, telling Sean, “Fine, you’ll just have ugly teeth then!”
