Strange Fish with Crocodile Jaws

A man caught a strange looking fish with crocodile jaws in a lake in Anshan, China on August 21, 2007. The news was very soon spread in the small village and attracted many lakeside residents to take a look at the strange fish. The man said that he had never seen this kind of fish before and he was shocked when seeing it. Many lakeside residents had fished in the lake for years but none of them seen such kind of fish before also.

The strange fish is 90-centimeter long and 3-kilogram in weight. According to experts, it is a spotted gar, a ferocious predator which originates in the Americas and is raised by many as a pet. However, it is very rare in China.
