Huge Shoes as Mascots of Beijing 2008 Olympic

A pair of huge shoes, measured 2,008mm long and 49.5kg in weight, is made to symbolize unity, friendship, progress and harmony of the Olympic Games 2008. The huge hand-made shoes bearing the mascots of the Beijing Olympic Games was displayed at Yichang, August 23, 2007.

Beijing 2008 Olympic’s mascots Fu-wa were used to decorate the shoes and “2008” was printed on the base of the shoes. The huge shoes are big enough for an adult to sit in. It will be donated to the Beijing Olympic organizing committee later.
