Pencil Kept in Woman’s Head for 55 Years

A pencil was kept in a German woman’s head since she was four. It was happened when she fell with holding a pencil on hand and the pencil went right through her head. She was suffering headaches and nosebleeds nearly her whole life due to the pencil hid inside her head.

Margret Wegner is 59-year-old now and just removed the pencil from inside her head by the latest technology that allow doctors able to remove it. It narrowly missed vital parts of her brain and no one dared to operate at the time.

Most of the pencil, pieces by pieces were taken out from her head in an operation at a private Berlin clinic, some part of the pencil was three inches long. However, the tip of pencil is still inside her head because it had grown in so firmly that it was impossible to remove.
