Another star going to jail but not from Hollywood this time, the wind blows to Bollywood. The well-known Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt, 48, was sentenced to six years in prison for illegal possession of weapons.

Many people expected Sanjay Dutt to be let off on probation after being convicted of illegally possessing three automatic rifles and a pistol acquiring guns from key plotters behind the 1993 Mumbai bombings. He already has served 18 months in jail following his arrest in the 1993, and it appears he will have to serve another 4½ years behind bars. He was also fined Rs 25,000.

Sanjay Dutt was able to complete few movies during bail extensions over the past year and only recently finished filming comedies like “Dhamaal” or “Loud Noise,” and “Phatafat” or “Pronto.”

The industry film could lose estimated about $12 million for three pending films, “Alibag”, “Kidnap” and “Fraud” from Sanjay Dutt.
