Floating Swimming Pool in Germany

The a floating swimming pool “Badeschiff” in Berlin Treptow is a swimming pool with stylish roof that placed on a ship on the river Spree. This floating swimming pool was designed by Berlin artist Susanne Lorenz. The pool is in rectangle shape, and the size is 32.5 meters long, 8.2 meters wide and 2 meters deep.

The ship is filled with 400,000 liters of fresh water. The water is heated up to a comfortable 24 degrees Celsius. In summer, it is open air without the stylish roof so that the swimmers can enjoyed sunbathing at the poolside.
