Every year in Chicago, Pride Parade is scheduled on the last Sunday in June. This year, the parade was held on Sunday, June 24, 11:30am at Halsted at about Briar Place for its 38th Annual Pride Parade. It was witnessed by estimated 450,000 people lined by the streets of Lakeview. The parade had 250 registered entries with participants ranging from local bars and athletic organizations to oil companies and politicians. Participants were mostly lesbians and gays.

The Pride Parade is becoming a festival for everyone, not only lesbians and gays, but straight people and traditional families were watching along the parade route.
