This is a latest Japanese robot that able to make up to 36 kinds of facial expressions based on certain keywords to make it more relatable. This amazing robot which named as Kansei (sensibility & emotion) was designed by a research team at the Meiji University’s Robot and Science Institute.

“What we are trying to do here is to create a flow of consciousness in robots so that they can make the relevant facial expressions,” said project leader Junichi Takeno. With it’s 19 movable parts underneath the silicone face mask, Kansei can create a facial expressions that looks like “real people” It’s cool, right?
