The software and computing giant, Microsoft has announced its new display technology recently, named as Surface, a 30-inch tabletop computer that uses gesture/multi-touch technology and wireless communication for users to view and move information without the use of a mouse or keyboard, just like what you see in this photo. It’s cool, right?

“With Surface, we are creating more intuitive ways for people to interact with technology,” said Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer. “We see this as a multibillion dollar category, and we envision a time when surface computing technologies will be pervasive, from tabletops and counters to the hallway mirror. Surface is the first step in realizing that vision.”

The amazing Microsoft Surface is supposedly going to be on sale this year for $5,000 to $10,000 and at the moment is aimed at commercial uses only. Anyway, Microsoft hopes to implement their “surface” technology around the world in the near future. The world depicted in “Minority Report” is coming soon with the Microsoft surface!
