In Elderon , Wisconsin , there is a buffet just for US$5 at ninth annual testical festival and more than 300 locals participated and feast on deliciously at Mama’s Place Bar and Grill last saturday.
The people simply love deep fried stuff especially cheese curds , candy bars and twinekies.Now, the all time favourite is here – deep fried livestock lof amb and bull testicles.
“Once you get over the mental (aspect) of what you’re eating, it’s just like eating any other food, and it tastes good,” Buster Hoffman said.
Another local named Butch Joubert , 58 , prefers to sandwich his ‘part’ between bread with tartar sauce
…and says it is not in any difference from the regular meatballs also served at the festival. “After a few beers, you can’t really tell the difference.”
The founder of the festival , Nancy Fenske , said the party came about when she celebrated a birthday for her late husband 12 years ago at Montana .They decided to have a ‘nut fry’ at Mama’s place after brought back with them lamb fries from the trip.
Ever since , the event carries on year after year and now even fry up to 100 pounds of testicles.Amazing , isn’t ?It was reported that , ‘What else can you do in a small town.’
