The Arco Valley is the biggest pearl for sale in the world, which is set to be auctioned in ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates. Reportedly given to Khubilai Khan, the emperor of China, by Marco Polo, the Arco Valley Pearl is a baroque pearl weighing 575 carats, or 2301 grains (78 x 41 x 35 mm), and is a white pearl with a touch of blue, mixed with pink and cream colors on its sides.

The Arco Valley pearl, named after a previous owner from Austria’s Arco Valley family dynasty. The name of its current owner is a secret. But Thursday, hundreds of “VIP” people will get the chance to buy the world’s largest natural pearl on the market. This giant natural pearl is estimated to fetch up to $8 million.
