A study has been conducted to prove this finding. A group of young volunteers’ hearts and heads were hooked up to electrodes and they were asked to taste pieces of dark chocolate before kissing their lovers. This experiment revealed that chocolate provides a buzz lasting up to four times as long as embracing the special person in our lives. While the chocolate is melting in the mouth, the brain gets a boost more intense and longer lasting than the excitement produced by kissing.
