The game starts off with you flying in to the Sandwich Islands, Hawaii, with a pocket full of cash and a lovely sports car which is actually on loan. Somebody will thence tell you to buy a new car of your own. You will use your money and it is just enough to get you an entry level sports car that will help you to get your racing career started. You make something for yourself through racing: win races, challenges, missions and tournaments to earn credit and money, with that, you can buy faster and powerful cars, buy rare performance parts, clothes, apparel, garages and glamorous houses. In this game, you can live the lifestyles of the rich and famous without having problems like taxes, bankruptcy, paparazzi hounds, pretentious friends, etc. It’s all in your living room.
