Mallika Sherawat, the Bollywood goodness was borned on October 24, 1981 in Haryana, India. She has a Degree in Philisophy from Delhi University. Her real name was Reema Lamba and she used to be an air-hostess during her studies. Then she got to know a pilot and married him (Karan Singh Gill) after that. However, her marriage did not work out and they divorced after that.
It was then that made Mallika to go with her dream in show business. But her dad was against that idea. She became popular after her movie Khwahish in 2003. In that movie, she was showing some parts of her skin and appeared in several kiss-scenes. According to the Indian standards, that was quite scandalous. She also appeared in Jackie Chan’s movie, The Myth in 2005. She was also the first Indian woman to get an offer to pose nude for Playboy magazine. But she turned down the offer, citing her morals and upbringing. Now she is one of the most sexiest icon in Bollywood.
Mallika Sherawat will be in the next Hollywood movie ‘Unveiled’. The film is produced by Clint Eastwood’s former associate director, Bill Bannerman. It tells the story of a Muslim woman who has two husbands and a lover. It is Hollywood’s first film to feature a female Muslim protagonist.
