Bollywood Wedding of the year, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai are getting married next month, April 2007. Aishwarya Rai, 33 is former Miss World 1994 and Abhishek Bachchan is 31. They got engaged mid of January 2007 at the Bachchans house. The exact wedding date has not been set as both of them are really busy with their schedule. It was reported that their wedding is expected to have more than 6,000 guests, with helicopters hired to shower petals over the reception.

There has been rumours saying that the former Miss World 1994 will become a fulltime housewife after marriage. Whether that is true or not, we are not sure. However, she is still active now and continues to get offers from Hollywood. She became one of the famous Bollywood actress in Hollywood since her movie in Bride and Prejudice. Her next movie, Last Legion will be released in Britain, Germany, Italy and Spain in April. Aishwarya had in the past been romantically linked to actors Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi.

Abhishek was engaged with Karisma Kapoor previously, but didn’t have a happy ending. They broke off from influences by Karisma’s mother, former actress Babita, who didn’t want her daughter to marry the then flop actor.

Abhishek and Aishwarya have been in quite a few movies together. They appeared as lead couple in “Kuch Naa Kaho”, “Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke”, “Umrao Jaan” and the just released “Guru“.
