In 2005, Paris Hilton failed to make several $208 payments on a storage facility that was subsequently seized.

The sex tapes, nude photos and personal letters eventually found its way into the hands of Bardia Persa, who launched ParisExposed.com reports RADAR.

America’s obsession with celebrity reached fever pitch last week as Paris Hilton voyeurs paid $39.97 to subscribe to a website that has catalogued the scarlet letters of her larger-than-lusty life -18 personal diaries, sex tapes, topless photos, love notes, medical records and friends’ phone numbers scribbled on paper napkins.
The highly personal collection - even for a star who has flaunted everything from her micro dog to her public puss - has been flogged on the website exposeparis.com. Hilton’s paper and digital trail was reportedly acquired after she failed to pay the $208 fee on her Los Angeles storage locker in 2005 - one she rented when moving between mansions.

Hilton’s representative, Elliot Mintz, would not comment on the matter to ABC, but had earlier told the New York Post that the items were “illegally seized,” due to a “bureaucratic foul-up.” He said Hilton was “incredibly upset and angry” and feels “victimized” by the loss of her belongings.

The collection could be worth $20 million, according to owner David Hans Schmidt, who is known as the “Sultan of Sleaze” because of his ties to the celebrity porn industry. The Phoenix-based broker bought the treasure trove for $2,775 and - with broker Bardia Persa - posted them on exposeparis.com. Despite the cost, the website has been overwhelmed with hits.

But one man’s treasure is another man’s trash. But some say privacy boundaries have gone too far.

“This is certainly a smart move from a business standpoint,” said psychologist James Houran, author of the book “Celebrity Worshippers: Inside the Minds of Stargazers.”

According to the Associated Press, “The items were sold to an unidentified buyer after a third party failed to make payments to the facility, and eventually wound up in the hands of a broker aiming to sell them…”
